$1 U.S. is worth $1,971 Colombian pesos today. When I traveled in Colombia last May and June $1 U.S. was worth about $1,600 Colombian pesos.

Good for Colombians but it fucked me!

So say I spent $4000 dollars today, I would get $7,880,000 Colombian pesos. But back in May and June my $4000 got me $6,400,000 Colombian pesos.

$7,880,000 – $6,400,000= $1,480,000

$1,480,000= about $750 U.S.

Talk about bad timing.
