Before I travel internationally using an airport, I will unpack all of my possessions only to repack them directly afterward? Why, you may ask?

I have seen enough Locked up Abroad episodes and heard enough horror stories to become paranoid. I do not do any illegal drugs, at all! I do this in order to check for any possible prohibited items that may have been placed in my bags. What if pissed off a fellow backpacker enough for him to place a small baggie of cocaine in my bag in retaliation? What if another traveler placed a bag of marijuana in my backpack because it was to dark in the room to realize he put it in the wrong bag?

I prefer to take a few extra minutes to unpack my bags rather than end up going to prison in a foreign country in the off chance that I am unlucky.
